Makerversity

In its first full year of operations in the UK, Makerversity achieved significant impact: 72 jobs created, 900 young people involved in learning programs at Makerversity, 40,000+ visitors from the public and £5.5 million in investment and funding for its members. Based on the success of Makerversity in the UK, TSCSF helped fund its expansion into the Netherlands. The newly set up Makerversity NL has impacted almost 3000 learners and 150 startups. It has also supported and hosted numerous educational programmes such as being the host of Amsterdam’s Maker festival welcoming over 15000 visitors. Makerversity Amsterdam opened on 1st April 2016 and its Learning Lab (located in the Old Naval Shipyard at the Marineterrein) is now open to the public.
