Teach First 

Teach First empowers people to change the lives of children from low income backgrounds and is building a movement of leaders committed to ending educational inequality. Teach First has been successfully tackling the shortage of STEM skills through their STEM Insight Programme which is an addition to their flagship Leadership Development Programme - a two-year scheme combining leadership development and teacher training. The award winning STEM Insight Programme helps penultimate-year university students to develop key employability skills and gives them the opportunity to deliver an inspiring lesson in school to young people studying STEM through a two-week internship opportunity. TSCSF is proud to support this Programme to help address the shortage of STEM teachers, and is an integral part of our mission to end educational inequality.
